Chevy pistons in a mitsu motor?

OK so Scott being an experienced engine builder and pioneering alot of things and being a pioneer somehwta myself I am curious about doing a custom build on a motor that there are no parts available for and there will probably never be made for. I would like to stroke a mitsubishi V6 and I can only think of possibly using Chevy pistons and rods because they are in such abundance but my curiousity is what would be involved and if anyone in town would be able to modify the crank or if a company could make custom rod bearings. I am basically looking to get a 4.1L Mitsubishi V6 based on the same 3.0L block I have but with a taller deck height. My goal would be to get a minimum of 300hp and 300tq to the wheels but less than 350 as the transmission cannot handle much more. I will stive have ignition control problems but fuel will be taken care of.

sounds real custom and expensive. boost it and make whatever power you want and spend less.

While you were at autonation I was going 3.0 which is what I did I wanted to put two left bank cams in the car and boost it. Well with all the problems with controlling the timing it is incredibly difficult to go boost.
Chevy rods and pistons can be had for as little as $10 a piston and $14 a rod.........
