I'm looking at a t3 turbo from westcoast-turbo.com. They have a rebuilt garret t3 for 329.  The super 60 is 389.  I want to build a turbo kit for my ek d16y8 but I'm not sure on how to go about it. I've been searchn and readn to see how other people have set up their d16's and they seem to put out good hp.

well it gives the option of 45 or 60 trim compressor wheel .42 or .60 compressor housing and .48 or .63 ar turbine housing.  I ve been looking at other setups on y8's and most of them run .42/.48 ar and can reach 220hp on stock internals safely.  So im thinking about doing the same, but like I said I'm new so don't know too much.  What does the ar mean?

it dosen't matter what size as long as your motor can stand it. are you running stock internals?
