I was trying to get some info on the ctr cam. Looking for what kind of gains i would be looking at in a Gsr with some cam gears. Any info helps. If you have had this setup please chime in.

I dont have a CTR but i do have an ITR intake cam and this cam dropped my 1/4 mile time from a 13.78 to 13.24 with more to go. Trap speeds went from 98mph up to 103mph in the 1/4. I am still running the gsr exhaust cam.

From what I have read the CTR and the 00-01 Itr intake cams are the same. The thing is... I am looking for Hp in the 190-200 Hp all motor range and I am wondering if this cam will help on the way to where I need to go. I read on Honda Tunings web site in the Tech section under "Killer B" that it is only giving 6-7 hp. I think I am going to need a set of cams ie: crower stage 1, Skunk tuner stage 1 or the blox A's.

That hp range is not something that is impossible to do. However to accomplish that goal youwill need a good set of cams skunk 2 pro 1 are not far off from an ITR cam. Anything biiger than a pro 1 and you will need to springs and retainers.
Once you get the cams the "Tune" is going to be everything. I have yet to tune my car. once scott pays for it ill be good to go though.... lmao

Since he's paying I need a tune as well.
I was only thinking of putting a new set of intake dual springs on the exhaust side to help with the cams and no it wont be more than a stage 1 tuner cam.
